How to use the What to Eat Wheel
What to Eat answers the hungry question fast, from a snack to takeout. Here's how to narrow it down and decide.
Quick start
- Press Spin. The wheel starts with sixteen popular foods, so there's nothing to set up.
- The wheel lands on what to eat, chosen at random before it starts turning.
- Want something lighter or faster? Switch to Quick Bite, or Takeout if you're ordering.
- Not feeling the pick? Remove & spin again gives you a different answer straight away.
Narrow it down
Choose Anything, Quick Bite or Takeout. Quick Bite sticks to things you can eat in minutes; Takeout is all delivery favourites.

Add what you've got
Add what's in the cupboard or nearby, like leftover pizza, so the wheel only suggests things you can actually have.

Switching lists asks first, so your additions are never replaced by accident. Reset brings back the list you picked.
Decide and go
The card says Eat this. Rule something out with Remove & spin again and the wheel picks from the rest.

Great for
- When you're hungry right now and can't choose
- Snack or meal decisions between classes or meetings
- Choosing what to order with a friend
- Breaking a 'whatever you want' standoff
- Trying something you haven't had in a while
- Late-night food decisions
Customize everything else
This page uses the same wheel as the homepage, so all the usual options work here too. The full wheel guide explains each one with pictures:
FAQ
What should I eat right now?
Spin the wheel. It picks from a broad mix of foods, and you can narrow it to a quick bite or takeout.
Can I put my own options on the wheel?
Yes. Add foods, restaurants or whatever's in your kitchen, and remove what you don't want.
How is this different from the Food Wheel?
It's the quick version: fewer lists and one fast answer. The Food Wheel has more lists for planning meals.
What if I don't like the answer?
Press Remove & spin again. That option comes off and the wheel picks again.
