How to use the Wheel of Colors
The Wheel of Colors spins real colors and gives you their values. Here's how to choose a palette, add exact colors and copy the result.
Quick start
- Choose a palette — Basic, Pastels, Earth tones or Neon — or generate a set of completely random colors.
- Add your own colors with the color picker or a HEX code.
- Spin the wheel. The result shows the color with its HEX, RGB and HSL values.
- Copy a value with one click and use it in your design, drawing or code.
Pick a palette
Start from Basic, Pastels, Earth tones or Neon, each a set of named colors, or press Random colors for eight brand-new ones. The palette you pick loads straight onto the wheel.

Add an exact color
Use the color picker or type a HEX code, like #FF5A5F, and press Add. The new slice is painted in exactly that color, which is useful for testing brand colors or a design palette.

Copy the color values
The result shows a swatch plus the color's HEX, RGB and HSL values. Each value is a button: press it to copy, ready to paste into design software or CSS.

Need lots of new colors?
The Random Color Generator creates distinct colors in one click. Press Spin these colors there and they arrive on this wheel as real slices.
