How to use the Random Letter Generator
The Random Letter Generator gives you one or more random letters instantly. Here's how to choose the letters and use the results.
Quick start
- Choose how many letters and the alphabet: A–Z, vowels or consonants.
- Pick uppercase or lowercase, and whether letters may repeat.
- Press Generate for your letters.
- Copy them, or press Spin these letters to use them on the Letter Wheel.
Choose your settings
Set how many letters, then choose A–Z, Vowels only or Consonants only, and Uppercase or Lowercase. Turn on Unique letters so no letter repeats.

Your letters
The letters appear as large tiles. Remove one with ×, Copy all for your game sheet, or Clear to start again. Handy for Scattergories-style games, word games and handwriting practice.

Spin them on a wheel
Press Spin these letters and the Letter Wheel opens with your letters already on it. If you'd already set up that wheel, it asks first before replacing anything.
