How to use the Random Recipe Wheel
The Random Recipe Wheel picks a dish to cook tonight. Here's how to match it to your evening and make the list your own.
Quick start
- Start with Mixed, or pick Quick, Dinner, Vegetarian or Comfort Food.
- Spin. The wheel picks a dish to cook.
- Missing an ingredient? Remove & spin again.
- Add the recipes you know so the wheel picks from your favourites.
Match it to tonight
Choose Mixed, Quick, Dinner, Vegetarian or Comfort Food. Quick dishes are on the table in about half an hour; Comfort Food is for slow, cosy evenings.

Make it your cookbook
Click any dish to rename it after your own version, or add the recipes you actually cook. The wheel then picks from your cookbook, not ours.

Cook this
The card says Cook this. Planning the week's meals? Remove & spin again gives you a different dish each time. The wheel picks the idea; the recipe is up to you.

Great for

Customize everything else
This page uses the same wheel as the homepage, so all the usual options work here too. The full wheel guide explains each one with pictures:
