How to use the Chore Roulette
Chore Roulette picks the next chore so nobody can argue it's unfair. Here's how to choose chores and turn it into a family rota.
Quick start
- Replace the list with your household's chores, or start with Mixed, Quick Chores, Cleaning or Weekly.
- Spin. The wheel picks the next chore.
- Do it, then Remove & spin again for the next one.
- Taking turns? Each person spins for their own chore.
Pick the chores
Choose Mixed, Quick Chores (five minutes or less), Cleaning or Weekly. The wheel picks one chore at a time.

Make it a family rota
Clear the list and write each chore with a name, like Dishes - Sam. Then one spin decides both the job and who does it, fairly.

Kids love pressing the spin button themselves, which makes the outcome easier to accept.
Decide and go
The card shows the next chore. Remove & spin again works through the list until every job is done.

Great for
- Sharing chores with roommates
- Family chore time
- Kids' chore games
- Speed-cleaning sessions
- Weekend reset routines
- Making boring jobs a game
Customize everything else
This page uses the same wheel as the homepage, so all the usual options work here too. The full wheel guide explains each one with pictures:
