How to use the OBS Wheel
The OBS Wheel puts a spinning wheel on your stream as an overlay. Here's how to set it up in OBS and what the link can and can't do.
Quick start
- Edit the wheel: type or paste your choices and set colors.
- Choose overlay settings: title, result, sound and auto-remove.
- Press Create OBS link and copy the URL.
- Add a Browser Source in OBS, paste the URL, then interact to spin.
Make your wheel
Edit the choices just like any wheel: viewer challenges, rewards or punishments.

Overlay settings
Add a title for the stream, choose whether the result shows on screen (and for how many seconds), turn sound on or off, and decide whether each result leaves the wheel before the next spin.

Add it to OBS
Press Create OBS link, then Copy URL. In OBS, add a Browser source, paste the URL and size it (800 × 800 works well). To spin live, interact with the source and click the wheel or press Space.

What the link holds
The link contains your choices, colors and overlay settings, and nothing is stored on a server. Anyone with it can view and spin the overlay but can't edit your wheel. Changed your wheel? Create a new link and paste it into OBS.
Great for
- Viewer challenge wheels
- Giveaway and raffle moments
- Subathon and donation goals
- Game and loadout picks on stream
- Punishment wheels for streams
- Community game nights
Customize everything else
The wheel itself works like the homepage wheel, so the guide below explains colors and spin settings with pictures:
