How to use the Hogwarts House Wheel
The Hogwarts House Wheel sorts you into one of the four houses in a single spin. Here's how to run a sorting for a whole group.
Quick start
- The wheel has the four houses.
- Spin once per person.
- Use the result for teams, costumes or a party game.
- Spin again any time; it's all in fun.
Four houses, equal chances
Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin, one slice each, so every house has a one-in-four chance.

Sort a whole group
Going round the table? Everyone spins once. For even teams, add each house several times (for example three each for twelve people) and use Remove & spin again so the houses fill up evenly.
Go fullscreen and make it a ceremony.
Your house
The card announces the house. This is an unofficial fan wheel; names belong to their owners.

Great for
- Splitting a party into four house teams
- Themed movie nights
- Costume and dress-up ideas
- Classroom reading-week activities
- Fan-art prompts
- Quiz-night team names

This page uses the same wheel as the homepage, so all the usual options work here too. The full wheel guide explains each one with pictures:
