How to use the Date Picker Wheel
The Date Picker Wheel picks a random date from any range you choose. Here's how to set the range, leave days out and avoid repeats.
Quick start
- Choose a start date and an end date.
- Optionally exclude weekends or specific dates.
- Spin. The date is picked fairly from every eligible day in the range.
- Spin again for another date; repeats are skipped this session.
Set your range
Choose a start and end date. Turn on Exclude weekends for working days only, and list any other days to skip (holidays, busy days) as YYYY-MM-DD, separated by commas.

Fair over the whole range
Every eligible date has exactly the same chance, even across a range of years. Ranges can hold hundreds of days, so the wheel shows the picked date among a dozen others from the range, then lands on it.

No repeats
With No repeats this session on, each picked date is set aside, so Pick another date always gives a new one. When every date is used, you'll see a message; Reset session brings them all back.

Great for
- Picking a date for an event
- Random deadlines for practice
- Scheduling surprise days
- Choosing a date night
- Classroom date and calendar games
- Random history-date challenges
Customize everything else
This page uses the same wheel as the homepage, so all the usual options work here too. The full wheel guide explains each one with pictures:
